Catherine Guinn Cook, age 23, of Morganton, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte.Catherine was born on March 1, 1991 in Watauga County. Catherine was a homemaker and enjoyed writing lots of letters, drawing and play music.Left to cherish Catherine’s memories are her husband, Justin Cook of Morganton; her son; Preston Cook of Morganton and her daughter; Keeley Cook of Morganton; her father; Michael Guinn and wife, Lisa of Elk Park and her mother; Filinchia Numev and husband, Nick of Hickory; her brothers; Gavin and Allen Guinn both of Elk Park; David Jones of Marion; and Andrew Charles Burleson of Newland her sistesr; Gwen Jones of Marion; and Anna Marie Lindecamp of Newland; maternal grandparents; John and Francis Carswell ; paternal grandparents; Edward and Lucille Bumgarner; mother and father-in-law; William Cook and Rebecka Aldridge. She also leaves behind a lot of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service honoring the life of Mrs. Catherine Guinn Cook at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Darrin Waldroup officiating. A time to receive friends and share memories and support the family will be from 3:30 pm until the time of the service.
