Glenna Beaver McFalls, age 70, of Sunnybrook Drive in Spruce Pine, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at her home.Born on September 21, 1944 in Yancey County, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Sarah Briggs Beaver. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert McFalls, Jr. who passed away in 2011. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.Left to cherish her memories are her son; Darryl McFalls of Spruce Pine; her grandchildren; Jessica McClellan and husband, David of Spruce Pine; Robert McFalls, Keith McFalls, and William McFalls all of Spruce Pine; her great grandchildren; Korie, Grayson, Kylie, Brantley, and Dakota; her sisters; Lucille Willis of Newdale; Jan Beers and husband, Jim of Clyde; and Vera Davis of Burnsville; her brothers; Herman Beaver and wife Cathy of Newdale and Hershal Beaver and wife Emma Jean of Forest City; and a very special friend, Jo Anne Hoilman.The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence for the funeral service honoring the life of Glenna McFalls on Friday, September 18 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home with the Rev’s Burl Grindstaff and Clayton McKinney officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at the Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery.
