I met Mac when he lived across the hall from my dad in Mitchell House. He loved taking me into his room to see the little solar powered flowers bobbing and swaying. He was fascinated by them and also by the wildlife and blooming flowers outside his window. Mac was a sweetheart and I am saddened by his death. May his family keep him always in their hearts. I certainly am going to miss Mac (and Dot). They were like two peas in a pod. One memory of the two of them that stands out for me is the story they told me years ago, about a road trip they had taken and they had both noticed they weren't seeing as well as they should. Turns out, for most of the trip they had been wearing the others glasses! Mac and Dot will always hold a place in my heart and I will always remember them - Dot, always with a book in her hand, and Mac, always with a mischievous smile on his face. I'm so glad that I got to see Mac recently in the office, he was weak, but he still had a lot of spunk! I will always be honored that they chose me to be their eye doctor. My thoughts and prayers are with your family - I hope their lights will shine on in your lives.

I wanted to express my deep sympathy to the family and friends. I am so sorry to hear of your loss of both Mr. and Mrs. McLeod. I hope you find comfort in the promises found in the Bible of a future with no more sickness, pain or suffering and a resurrection of our dear loved ones. I look forward to the time when we will all live in paradise with perfect health and never again be separated from those we love so much.
