Jimmy Dean 'Buck' Carpenter

Jimmy Dean ‘Buck’ Carpenter, age 54, of Franklintown Road in Spruce Pine, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at his home.Born on March 31, 1961 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Scott Carpenter and Joyce Biddix Carpenter. In addition to his father; he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Carpenter who passed away in 2012. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Ann Smith. Left to cherish his memories are his mother; Joyce B. Carpenter of Spruce Pine; his brothers; David and Johnny Carpenter both of Spruce Pine; his sisters; Cynthia Marcus of Spruce Pine and Linda Turbyfield of Hampton, TN; step-daughters; Julie Beam and fiancee’, Joe Erwin of Bakersville and Roberta Beam of Tennessee; special nephews, Paul Marcus and Johnathan Carpenter; special niece; Jonie Carpenter; and several other nieces and nephews that were close to, ‘Buck’.The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery for the graveside service for ‘Buck’ Carpenter at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 27, 2015 with the Rev. Greg Hollifield officiating. Interment will follow in the Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
