Louise Burleson

Mrs. Louise Mace Burleson, 79, of Salisbury, NC passed away Thursday (Feb. 5) at her home.Born July 2, 1935 in Mitchell County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Edd Mace and Etta Lowery Mace.She was educated in the Mitchell County schools and graduated from Harris High School, Spruce Pine and attended Blanton’s Business College, Asheville.Mrs. Burleson was a homemaker, and faithful wife. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Theodore R. “Ted” Burleson, Jr.; daughters, Terri L. Burleson of Greensboro and Mitzi B. Hellmann and husband Richard of Bridgewater, NJ; son Edwin “Ed” Burleson and wife Pam of Clayton; grandchildren, Kara Hansen, Laura Hansen, Seth Burleson and Mitchell Burleson.The family will receive friends from 9-10 AM Saturday (Feb. 7) at Summersett Funeral Home and again from 3-4 PM Saturday at Webb Funeral Home, Spruce Pine.Funeral service will be conducted 10 AM – Saturday at Summersett Memorial Chapel, Salisbury with the Rev. Dr. Rick Cockerham, minister of Calvary Baptist Church. An additional service will be conducted at 4 PM – Saturday at Webb Funeral Home Chapel, Spruce Pine with the Rev. Homer Murdock, officiating.
