Bobby Joe McMahan age 58 of Walnut Avenue in Spruce Pine went home to be with the Lord on Friday December 3, 2021 at his residence. Born in Yancey County he was a son of the late Silas and Janet Wyatt McMahan and was preceded in death by his wife Ginger Greene McMahan and a brother Leroy McMahan.Bobby will be remembered most for his hard work and work ethic. In his many years as a truck driver and mechanic, Bobby rarely missed a day of service. When Bobby was not working he enjoyed spending time watching sports and playing with his grandkids.Left to cherish his memories are his daughters; Vanessa McMahan and fiancé Chris Carpenter of Spruce Pine, Rebecca McMahan and Matthew Grose of Spruce Pine and Amanda Willis and husband Samuel of Forest City, NC.
