David E. McFalls, age 62, of Creek Pittman Road in Spruce Pine, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the Care Partners Hospice Solace Center in Asheville.Born in Mitchell County, he was a son of the late Ernest Franklin and Mary Elizabeth McFalls. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Sandra Darlene McFalls.David worked at the Ethan Allen for many years until it shut down and then worked as an Attendant at the Ingles Gas Station. He was a former captain of the Radio Patrol and enjoyed wood working, gardening, reading, and spending time with his family.Left to cherish his memory is his sister; Anita McFalls of the home, brother; Larry McFalls of Spruce Pine, nieces; Ashley Bunnell of the home, Amy McFalls of Spruce Pine, April Phillips of Bakersville and Teresa Flowers and husband Billy, of Elk Park; his aunt, Mildred Lunsford and husband, Calvin; several great nieces, nephews and cousins.A time to support the family, share memories, and receive friends will be Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Steve Williams officiating.
