Donna Biggerstaff

April 21, 1950 - December 8, 2020

Donna K. Biggerstaff, age 70, formerly of Spruce Pine, currently living in Bristol, TN went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Born on April 21, 1950 in McDowell County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Connie Gunter Kerr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jim Biggerstaff who passed away in 1992. Donna was a member of the Beaver Creek Baptist Church. She was a people person that never met a stranger and liked being around family and friends. She loved the beach, ocean, and working on her suntan. She was an avid reader. She also enjoyed music, watching movies, the Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge area and Dollywood. Left to cherish her memories are her sons; Chad Biggerstaff and wife, Jamie of Mars Hill and Heath Wiseman and wife, Shelly of Bristol, VA; her grandchildren; Noah and Hali Biggerstaff; Zack, Justin, and Drake Wiseman; her sister; Carolyn Glenn and husband, Lawrence of Spruce Pine and her nephew; John Glenn and wife, Stacey of Spruce Pine. The family will be having a private graveside service in the Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery. Interment will follow in the Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery. A public celebration of life service will be planned and announced later. Flowers will be accepted and appreciated or memorial donations may be made to; Tri-Cities Champions.
