Eveline and I had wonderful times playing music together. We did a Fall Concert in 2007...and spent weeks practicing before the event. I remember one time I was coming back from out of town, and she let me crash at her place.
I have so many fine memories of the wonderful, amazing and feisty woman she was. So kind, so giving, so smart. She will be deeply missed.

The first time I met Eveline was actually at my job and I remember her picking up a scarf to wrap up in and all I could think was how cute she was. So I had to tell her :) Then our paths crossed again at Monica’s music studio. I saw her and couldn’t remember where I knew her from so I waved and spoke up. She came over to my car and we got to talking and that was the beginning of our friendship. While my daughter had her lessons Eveline and I would spend time together conversations, praying, enjoying chocolate or pie together, or riding up on the parkway and enjoying the views. Our time together was special. I’ll miss you sweet friend.

The LORD brought Eveline to my studio door one day, asking about music lessons. She loved to tell the story about how she was going to pretend to take music lessons from me & then come to her first lesson, being able to play amazingly! But she didn't. However, what did occur was an amazing friendship...one of music & a common bond in The LORD! Every week, she came to my studio. We played piano duets...many that she arranged...& we prayed & read The Bible or talked about a book she had been reading. She taught me much...things that will live on in my heart. This year on her 90th birthday, I shared w/her (in a card) some lessons that I am learning from her...to take time for others, to pray & also dig deep into GOD's Word, to not be afraid, to depend on GOD, to read good books, & to love your friends enough to tell them the truth. We shared several of her birthdays together, one of going to The Cove & The Billy Graham Training Center & chapel....& another in Boone, visiting a longtime friend of hers & going to lunch. Both are very special to me. I am glad GOD brought her to my doorstep about 6 years ago...I loved her!

I met Eveline while in the Chargers hiking group. She was a very active member. Spent many enjoyable hours with Eveline. She was a collector of many things and very knowledgeable about home remedies and healthy foods. We had many good laughs

I am so sorry to learn of Eveline's passing. I cleaned her teeth for many years and we shared a love of music. We had many long talks about music and she shared many of her early years of music with me. I will miss her. Prayers for your family.
