Gary Hoyle

November 1, 1953 - December 28, 2020

Gary Hoyle, age 67, of the Deer Park Apartments on Biggerstaff Road in Spruce Pine went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Care Partners Solace Center in Asheville. Born on November 1, 1953, he was the son of the late Irene Hoyle Buchanan. Gary was a member of the Berry Chapel Baptist Church. Gary loved his family and enjoyed visiting and spending time with them. He was a fan of NASCAR racing and N.F.L. football. His favorite N.F.L. team was the Dallas Cowboys. Left to cherish his memories are his sisters; Joretta Thomas and husband, Jerald of Newland; Janice Huskins of Spruce Pine; and Sharon Silvers of Burnsville; his brother; Michael Hoyle of Spruce Pine; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be on Friday, January 1, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special ‘Thank You’ to Care Partners Hospice & Solace Center of Asheville for their wonderful care of Gary.
