Haden Lee Rose, of the Dysartsville community in Nebo died Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals in Asheville.Born on October 29, 1946 in Burke County, he was the son of the late Bernard and Bessie Barrier Rose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Ray Rose.Haden was retired from the Ingles Distribution Center in Black Mountain where he worked as a receiving clerk. He was a graduate of Crossnore High School and Blanton’s Business College. He attended the Silver Creek Baptist Church. He loved his family and friends and particularly loved his grandson. He enjoyed fishing, flowers and gardening.Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Evelyn H. Rose of the home; his son; Nathan Rose and wife, Kristina of Nebo; his grandson; Brantley Rose; his brothers; Leon and Terry Rose both of Jonas Ridge and Ronnie Rose and wife, Maxine of Linville Falls; his sisters-in-law; Brenda Bledsoe of Nebo and Verda Newton and husband, Phil of Forest City; brother-in-law; Harold Hutchins and wife, Rita of Poca City, OK; his nieces and nephews; Lisa and Johnny Rose of Colorado Springs, CO., Freddie Wiseman of Morganton, Laura Whittington of Jonas Ridge, Larry Bledsoe of Nebo, Randy Newton of Forest City, and Rachel, Elaine and Wade Hutchins of Oklahoma.The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service honoring the life of Haden Rose on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Thompson officiating. A time to support the family, share memories and receive friends will be on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 2:00 pm until the service hour in the funeral home chapel.
