Helen Weatherman

Helen Stout Weatherman, age 88, of Three Mile in Newland went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2017 at the Mitchell House in Spruce Pine.A native of Avery County, Helen was the daughter of the late Anna and Tom Stout. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Bob, Jack, and Allen Stout and her sister; Ruby Cressman. Helen attended Walnut Grove Church. She was a hard worker and delighted in her beautiful flower garden which was enjoyed by all.Left to cherish her memories are her husband of seventy-two years; Bill Weatherman of the home; her children; Lila Hales and husband, Jim of Raleigh and Shirley Eason and husband, Steve of Raleigh; sister; Mabel Harvey of Three Mile; brothers; Ray Stout of Charlotte and Fred Stout of Three Mile; there are four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service honoring the life of Helen Weatherman on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home with the Rev. Kurt Bomar officiating. A time to support the family, share memories and receive friends will be on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 1:30 pm until the service hour in the funeral home chapel.
