Jean Wiseman

Jean C. Wiseman, age 81, of Hanging Rock Road in Spruce Pine, died on Monday, September 5, 2016 at her home.Born on May 5, 1935 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Nonive Buchanan Conley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wiseman who passed away in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her brother; Fred Wiseman.Jean was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and yard work.Left to cherish her memories are sons; James Wiseman and wife, Dottie of Spruce Pine and David Wiseman and wife, Robin of Granite Falls; her daughters; Susie Williams and husband, Danny; Carolyn Miller and husband, Tommy; and Lesa Fisher and husband, Chipper all of Spruce Pine and Sharon Crisafulli and husband, Phil of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; her sister; Elizabeth Canipe and husband, Buddy of Asheville; her sister-in-law; Shirley Wiseman of Virginia; there are nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the memorial service honoring the life of Jean Wiseman on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Pine Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Hobson officiating.
