Lambert Hoilman

Lambert Phillip Hoilman, age 70, of Whitaker Branch Road in Newland, died on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Brian Center Health and Rehab.Born on November 6, 1945 in Avery County, he was the son of the late Jake and Ruth Buchanan Hoilman.Lambert was a member of the Powdermill Baptist Church. He loved being outdoors and was an avid hunter. He enjoyed watching old western movies.Left to cherish his memories are daughters; Melissa Woodruff and husband, Wayne of Lenoir and Melinda Clontz and husband, Jeff of Morganton; special friend, Linda Stillwell of Spruce Pine; his brothers; Herbert Hoilman and wife, Bennie of Roan Mountain, TN; Ivan Hoilman and wife, Kathy of Newland; and Russell Hoilman and wife, Gail of Newland; his sister; Evelyn Hoilman of Newland; his grandchildren; Jacob Woodruff of Lenoir and Sam Clontz and Avery Clontz both of Morganton; several nieces and nephews.The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service honoring the life of Lambert Hoilman on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 4:00 pm at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev’s. Alan Laws and Russell Hoilman officiating. A time to support the family, share memories and receive friends will be on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 3:00 pm until the service hour at the church. Interment will follow in the Whitaker Branch Cemetery.The family would like to extend special ‘Thanks’ to the staff of Brian Center Health and Rehab and Hospice of the Blue Ridge for their excellent care of Lambert.
