Linda McFalls, age 62, of Ellis Road in Spruce Pine, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at U.N.C. Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill.Born on February 23, 1956 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Claude Yelton and Mary Yelton. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Austin Cox; a brother, Gary Yelton; and two sisters; Wanda Hoilman and Jean Yelton.She attended the Pine Branch Baptist Church and had been employed by the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital for forty years. Linda loved being at home and spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren. She also loved decorating for the holidays, cooking and sharing with everyone.Left to cherish her memories are her husband; Larry McFalls of the home; her daughters; Amy Nanney and husband, Josh of Burnsville and Dawn Phillips of Bakersville; her mother; Mary Yelton of Bakersville; her grandchildren; Briana, Evanie, Jaxon, Christopher, Josh, and Autumn; her great grandchildren; Madison and Mason; her brothers; Howard Yelton and wife, Linda of Bakersvile; Jim Yelton and wife, Louise of Morganton and Larry Yelton of Bakersville; her sisters; Jan Silvers and husband, Donnie of Unicoi, TN; Ann Stout and husband, Tommy of Bakersville and Vickie Waycaster of Bakersville and her sister-in-law; Shirley Biddix of Spruce Pine.The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service honoring the life of Linda McFalls on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home with the Rev’s. Bobby Joe Greene and Steve Williams officiating. A time to support the family, share memories and receive friends will be on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
