Lisa Robinson

Lisa Biggerstaff Robinson, age 50, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.Born on November 4, 1970 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Ray and Wanda Kay Sparks Barksdale.Lisa worked at the Haynesfield Elementary School in Bristol, TN. She loved teaching piano and singing. Her piano students were very important to her. She had a strong faith in God and taught her girls to always trust God in everything in their life. She loved watching the U.N.C. Tar Heels play basketball. Most important to her was spending time with her girls.Left to cherish her memories are her daughters;Abbie Henard and husband, Dakota of Bristol, TN; Courtney Robinson of Bristol, TN; her aunt and uncle; Ann and Richard Haney of Spruce Pine; her special friends; Marcy Branson, Valarie Cox, Gigi Puckett, Sherry Ollis, Ava Hollifield, and all of her wonderful friends from the Haynesfield community.A time to support the family, share memories, and receive friends will be on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 5:00 until 6:00 pm at Central Christian Church in Bristol, TN. A memorial service for family and friends in Bristol, TN will follow at 6:00 pm on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the church with the Rev. Mark Overton officiating. A funeral service for family and friends in Spruce Pine will be on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Dr. Rocky Branch officiating. Interment will be in the Mt.
