Mike Honeycutt, age 76, of Pine Top Lane in Spruce Pine, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine.Born on November 11, 1945 in McDowell County, he was the son of the late Cecil and Jewel Johnson Honeycutt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Honeycutt and his sister, Jackie Gardner.Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he attended the Central Baptist Church in Spruce Pine. Prior to retirement, he was the Human Resources Director at Henredon Furniture in Spruce Pine. He loved spending time with his family. He took great pride and enjoyed working in his yard. He also enjoyed camping and taking trips to Cades Cove.Left to cherish his memory is his wife; Lisa Robinson Honeycutt of the home; his son, Matthew Honeycutt and wife, Kellie of Bakersville; his daughters; Melissa Allen and husband, Kevin of Burnsville and Megan Honeycutt of West New York, NJ; and his grandchildren; Ian and Logan Boone, Presley and Vegas Honeycutt, and Tyler and Logan Biggs.In accordance with Mike’s wishes, no services will be planned.Words of comfort may be emailed to the family by going to our website, www.webbfh.com, selecting Mike Honeycutt’s name, and then you may sign his guestbook. Lisa, I am sorry for your loss. I had so much fun years ago cutting up with Mike and Beauvais. Another one gone too soon.
