Dale A. Parsley

Dale Allen Parsley, age 60, of Harris Heights in Spruce Pine, died Monday, October 7, 2019 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine following a long period of declining health.Born on May 21, 1959, he was the son of the late Allen and Ruth Glenn Parsley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his special canine friend, Max.Dale held a dual membership in Vesper Masonic Lodge #554 A.F. and A.M. and Bakerville Masonic Lodge #357. He was a member of the Knights Templar and was an Oasis Shriner. Additionally, he was a Past President of the Mountaineer Shrine Club and currently a member of the Gator Patrol, Oasis 500’s, and Hillbilly Clan 13. Dale had dedicated his life to raising money for others and was instrumental in raising money for the Shriners Hospitals for children. He was known to have the ability to bring out the best in everyone.Left to cherish his memories are his wife; Cali S. Parsley of Spruce Pine; his daughter, Mariah Parsley of Fletcher; and his son, Jordan Marsh of Spruce Pine.The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service for Dale Parsley on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 5:30 pm at the First Baptist Church of Spruce Pine with Dr. Rocky Branch officiating. A time to support the family, share memories and receive friends will be on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm at the church. Interment will be in the Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery.
